Imagine if an unknown person somewhere in front of you launches objects like hiking boots, cactus, bowling balls, video game controllers camping tents, couches, vacuums, and assorted paper based items directly at you. You have to identity each object and fling it into the appropriate bin – outdoor vs indoor, red vs blue etc. That’s the general thrust of Sortee, a new action puzzle game out now on the iOS platform. Flow Studio created Sortee.
Sortee offers two modes, Classic will comes with nine free levels and then you pay $0.99 to unlock the remaining 42 levels. Sometimes you have to sort red and blue objects, indoor from outdoor objects, items with no legs vs four legs, office vs game objects. If you can advance far enough you will have to sort from four different kinds of objects like art vs game vs office vs wood objects.
If you send an item into the wrong bin you crack the screen. Do this three times and the game ends. You can destroy certain objects that don’t belong in any of the bins by pinching your finger. The fast game play mode offers game play from random sections of Sortee but if you screw up just once the game ends.
We think Sortee appeals to a wide audience: For parents this could represent a great educational game for their children but anybody who enjoys a fast paced puzzle oriented action game will play Sortee for hours. Sortee offers a unique game play unseen by our team but then again we get lost in the shower, with a GPS!
