Three Reasons to buy Alien Dominion

Three Reasons to avoid buying Alien Dominion

#1: Annoying sound track and Voice acting
# 2: Repetitive game play
# 3: Mindless shooting

“Alien Domination” is much like the old arcade game “Tail Gunner”. In “Alien Domination” the player is a turret gunner aboard a deep space exploration ship. While looking for minerals the ship runs into an alien invasion fleet planning to attack the earth. The player’s job is to wipe out the attacking enemy ships so they can make it back to Earth.

The action is fast and furious as the player must destroy hundreds of enemy fighters, attack drones and even a couple of vast enemy space carriers launching attack craft like a shaken beehive spitting a swarm. Using two laser turrets, the player defends his ship in a 3d and 360 degree battle. Each level takes about ten minutes to complete. Between each level the player collects resources used to upgrade his weapons, targeting, shields, repair robots, etc. The player must survive six worlds of nihilistic action to complete the mission.

The graphics are just great; sharp and vivid with very pretty explosions. The enemy ships look menacing and move smoothly and quickly. The lasers beams are bright, clean and “accurate”.

<a href="https://www.plimus.com/jsp/download_trial.jsp?contractId=2766794&referrer=charliegrace"Download Free Game Trial

The rock-pop-heavy metal soundtrack is of mixed quality at best and is terribly annoying at worst. But at least the player can mute that if they choose. The story, such as it is, is advanced through the conversation between the pilot and the ships AI. It is here the game really breaks down, as the voice acting is just terrible, sounding like a low grade 1980’s voice synthesizer from a techno-band poetry reading.

The creativity and innovation in “Alien Domination” is very low. “Tail Gunner” did this same thing in 1979 in an old styled video arcade game, as did “Space Harrier” in 1985 and “Sin and Punishment” did again in 2000. The developer has clearly spent most of its time and energy on the excellent graphics. So even within the narrow range of a 3d space “rail” shooter, “Alien Domination” doesn’t show the player anything new in either storyline or game play.

If you want a simple, mindless yet pretty space shooter that lets you dispatch alien hordes for hours and for a reasonable price of around 10 to 12 dollars American, then “Alien Domination” is certainly for you. If you want something more from your gaming experience, then look elsewhere.

Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, If you love good action packed video games, Elemental Shooter is definitely one to check out. After looking at the preview and after actually checking this game out I will give it a rating of 4/5.

<a href="https://secure.bmtmicro.com/servlets/Orders.ShoppingCart?CID=6055&PRODUCTID=60550000"onClick="javascript: pageTracker._trackPageview('/elementalstudiobuy1'); ">Buy The Game Now $6.95

The game is action packed, and intense. Elemental Shooter has good graphics, and the sound tracks have the tone of adventure.

You need more? Cool, not a problem.

Okay, this game, competition, encounter, war has begun. You’re on earth because that’s where you live right? The landscape is green grass beautiful flowers, beautiful blues skies and water. Bottom line the earth is absolutely beautiful with it’s vast greenery, and vegetation.

Then seemingly out of no where the enemies begin to approach you from all angles. You shoot, but you slow your role. Why? because one shot has blackened out and burned to a crisp the beautiful flowers, plants , and vegetation. So, you’re somewhat torn between shooting these enemies or keeping ( America) the earth green.

Okay silly, if you don’t shoot you won’t be alive to see the green. Okay so you shoot, and you shoot again and again. Trying to stay focused on your enemies you’ve lost your bearings, and fell into a huge lake. My advice is swim and shoot, just make sure you keep that gun shooting no matter what; afterall, it is a matter of life and death.

<a href="https://secure.bmtmicro.com/servlets/Orders.ShoppingCart?CID=6055&PRODUCTID=60550000"onClick="javascript: pageTracker._trackPageview('/elementalstudiobuy2'); ">Buy The Game Now $6.95

The enemy just shot into the water. Gee that water sure is hot. Hey, don’t sweat it, ( pun intended). Just keep moving, dodging, and shooting. There are some barriers of protection for you.. some nice trees, metal walls, brick walls, and plenty of buildings. Hey, those tunnels are not bad either. Duck and hide my friend, duck and hide.

As you duck and hide this will give you the perfect opportunity to reload. Speaking of reloading, how do you do that? Hey, you don’t expect me to tell you everything do you?

You gotta leave something for the imagination. Plus when you buy the game those untold things will make the game all the more fun, and action packed.

Okay three reasons to buy Elemental Shooter are:

1. It’s action packed

2. It’s very intense

3. You are in total control of your destiny

Three reasons not to buy Elemental Shooter are:

1. If you’re not a good shooter and / or dodger you will get shot

2. All of this shooting burns and destoys your surrondings

3.It’s pretty gory when you shoot those enemy forces

The trail preview should convience you enough whether to buy or not to buy this game.

Elemental shooter gets a thumbs up… it’s good enough to preview, it’s good enough to buy, it’s good enough to enjoy for the long haul.

Virtual Farm Game Review by Adam Sprott
Game Rating = 2/5 Balls

After playing Virtual Farm by Alawar Entertainment, I have found it to be quite unrealistic and a game that quickly becomes boring. Personally, I did not like it; I enjoy games that are a challenge, and this game was far too simple. To give it a rating, I would say it is no better than a 2/5 for children, a 1/5 for everyone else.

<a href="https://secure.bmtmicro.com/servlets/RIP.DemoDownload?PRODUCTID=11620656&AID=1647223 "onClick="javascript: pageTracker._trackPageview('/virtualfarmdl1'); ">Download Free Game Trial
<a href="http://www.arcadetown.com/virtualfarm/ordergame.asp?AID=1647223 "onClick="javascript: pageTracker._trackPageview('/virtualfarmbuy1'); ">Buy The Game Now $19.95

The game is far too stereotypical and idyllic with very little creativity or innovation. Seeing as I live on a farm, I think the game designers know very little about farming and have instead developed a game more along the lines of home gardening; farmers do not grow grass, they grow hay as any 3-year-old living on or near a farm can tell you. Naturally the main character is the stereotypical large pot-bellied farmer in plaid overalls and straw hat that waddles around with gardening tools and equipment. There are hardly any setbacks as you play the game, and unless you forget to do something or you make a mistake everything will turn out perfectly. This game has been built from a basic template that has been used by many, many other games, and has no innovation or creativity other than being set in a large garden. I was surprised I did not have to chase any troublesome garden gnomes away; it would have probably been more interesting and engaging.

The game does keep the player involved, through pure micromanagement that soon becomes tedious. The game play is quite weak and the market set-up is quite confusing to understand how to work properly. When one has become tired of the managing the “farm” and has learned what all the commands are, the game loses all appeal.
The graphics are very fluid but are quite simple, and after the initial impression wears off they do nothing to help the weak game play keep the game interesting. The game has very simple and generic sound effects, that like the graphics do nothing to keep your attention on the game.

Overall, the game was too stereotypical, too simple, too unrealistic, too generic and becomes boring quickly.

However, despite all my criticisms, Virtual Farm would be a very good game for children, as it requires some skill with organizing, planning, and managing; things children often enjoy in simple games and can learn from games like this. I know that if I had just been beginning to play games, this would be a fun game that I could learn some basic skills from and apply to other games and situations. For someone looking for a new game that can capture a child’s attention for a little while and teach the child some basics in the process, I would recommend that you consider this game. Anyone over the age of 10 or 11, should consider this to be a 1/5 and move on.

Game Rating = 2/5 Balls

Right out of the gates, UFO 2: The Phadt Menace blasts you with some nostalgic tunes and graphics from the days of the Sega Genesis. Blaring trumpets, odd sparkles, and shimmering noises fill your mind. If you look forward to this for the next 60-minutes of this game’s trial-run, then you’ll be in blocky 16-bit heaven.

Next screen after the emboldening intro is a scrolling wall-of-text, explaining the game’s story; It’s a copy of the Star Wars method of story-telling. A slow reveal, lame plot, in other words, absolutely boring as hell if hell was having to read a giant wall of text, in slow motion, with trumpets blaring in the background. You may safely (and for your safety) skip it.

Help section reveals brief explanations of what’s in the game. Put simply, you guide your small spaceship with the mouse and the two mouse-buttons serve as a firing trigger and thrust, which launches the ship forward in the direction of your mouse cursor. Some keyboard-buttons are used for other weapons, like bombs. Your mission is to locate camps on the terrain, rain hellfire to break them open, then rescue the prisoners inside.

Okay, this is ridiculous! So you’re firing rockets, bombs, and nukes at a prison-compound, WHERE YOUR FRIENDS ARE BEING HELD, to BLOW UP the building! Then you’re supposed to swoop in and rescue whatever bits of their charred remains are still recognizable to their loved ones. Luckily, I love ridiculousness, so I’m liking this game.
Before I played this, I didn’t think there was such a thing as too much ridiculousness, now I know better.

The game-play is a lot (almost identical) to Cobra Command, an old NES game. Similarly, you’re an aircraft rescuing hostages from buildings by destroying the buildings, then landing near those hostages so they can crawl into you. Cobra Command was fun, that is, until you took hits from the enemy and your chopper began to drift to the ground, damaged. You’d struggle with thrust to keep flying, while avoiding heavy enemy fire. Those were heart-wrenching moments, you were their only hope, and here you are, about to crash-land right on top of them, but you save them anyway! Well, UFO Pilot 2, has all of the same 2D side-scrolling action, with NONE of the satisfaction.

You’re a nifty-looking UFO-thing, only instead of remaining airborne, like you’d expect from future-aircraft, you’re constantly plummeting to your death because of gravity. Thrust is your only lifesaver. It doesn’t sound so bad, but I equate this experience with juggling knives on a roller-coaster, while people throw baseballs at you, while trying to rescue the princess from the castle. Except you have to obliterate the castle with a bazooka to get at her. It’s not like you could just land your spaceship somewhere and launch a stealth mission, right? It’s not like Starfleet could have said “Future-Rambo, here’s a battalion of our best warriors, rescue all these prisoners!” No! Of course not! Instead they said “Here’s a tiny space-pod and some pellets. Go wipe-out our enemies! Good luck!”

The controls are unwieldly, you can’t aim, dodge lasers, bounce around like a crazy-ball, AND stand still while your small ship fills with sluggish people. Mercifully, you’re allowed to upgrade your equipment. More responsive engines or armor. are some options, points can be distributed among many different stats at the beginning of every mission. Those stats are meaningless though. The only stats that matter here are living or dead, and you my friend, will be dead.

The game eventually devolves into the ultimate nihilistic experience. As you play, you realize there is no way for you to perform so many tasks and expect to escape with your life, much less with a hull-full of screaming hostages. So what’s left to do? Start dive-bombing into those enemy laser-tanks and proton-cannons to watch flames erupt all over the screen! Maybe you feel like sharing your new-found enlightenment with your shrieking passengers, take’em along for the ride of their lives! Er, deaths, I should say.

This could have been a fantastic game. It copies Cobra Command after all, and updates and polishes the graphics, but gravity complicates everything. 2 out of 5.

Game Rating = 4/5 Balls

Once upon a time, all action games were like Jets n Guns Gold. Piloting a heavily armed yet highly manoeuvrable starfighter around unlikely structures in outer space and blasting seven shades of starlight out of all manner of alien beasties. Sideways scrolling shooters are back with a vengance.

Storyline and Gameplay

There is a story behind the non-stop action in this game, but it boils down to saving the universe from the usual alien threat, and is relayed by neat cartoons. Jets and Guns Gold is intense, fast and refreshingly difficult from the outset. No tutorial levels here, your little spaceship needs to hit the ground running! Controlling your craft with the cursor keys and firing using the spacebar (just keep your finger pressed down), you need to fly around shooting as much as you can while avoiding: enemy ships, enemy fire and the ground. Power-ups and extra cash float around (you can upgrade your ship between levels), naturally.

Exploding alien ships frequently eject their pilots, and if you can destroy enough of the stick figure aliens at once, you also receive a cash bonus from ‘viewers at home’ – a ‘body count’ ticks over along with the player’s score. If you die, you get to restart from the last checkpoint, you can’t ‘lose’ the game definitively. It’s a difficult game, but not unfairly so.
Graphics and Sound

The game’s sound is amazing. An apparently original soundtrack plays in the background, sounding a lot like 80s hair metal with a few electronic tunes thrown in the background. The opening music sounds like Bon Jovi covering the Knight Rider theme tune. All the various flashes and bangs are effective, too, even down to the little groans of the dying aliens.

Graphically, Jets and Guns Gold is also strong, with well-drawn alien spaceships and explosion effects, and slick scrolling and animation. The game is also efficient with its graphics demands, running like lightning even on the most modest modern laptop.

Creativity and Innovation
Given that sideways scrolling shooting games have now been with us for more than quarter of a century, Jets and Guns Gold manages to feel fresh. Perhaps it’s the nostalgia element. Or perhaps it’s the quirky sense of humour that has been applied to the game’s graphics – which results in adverts for weapons littering the levels, or signs saying ‘No nukes between 8:00 and 5:00′. Either way, Jets and Guns Gold feels like a new gaming experience and not just a rehash of past glories.

$29.95 is a significant price to pay for a game, but the sheer addictive difficulty of the game could lead to hundreds of hours of gameplay.

Buy Jets and Guns Gold if you:
* Like a challenge
* Want something uncomplicated and fun
* Enjoy brilliant music in games

Don’t buy it if you:
* Prefer a stronger plot
* Are squeamish about game violence
* Like more sophisticated gameplay.

Game Rating = 4/5 Balls

Story:

Could you be a property magnate? Could you make money from nothing? This game allows you to find out. The player has inherited a trailer park and needs to buy trailers, upgrade, rent them and sell them in order to make money before moving to a more affluent area with houses.

Download Free Game Trial

Game Play

The player has the option to play themselves in this game as names are typed in. A difficulty level is selected and the challenge begins. There are 14 levels altogether and each one comes with specific targets to be reached within a time limit. The first level is simply one task which involves choosing a trailer to buy. This draws the player in. As the game progresses the targets become more difficult including rent, maintenance, buying and selling. As the player improves the property changes from trailers to houses. It is important to keep maintaining properties without running out of money.

Graphics

The graphics are colourful and clear so it easy to spot the properties you purchase. The environment changes from a trailer park to roads with houses on them. When money is made green dollar signs shower the computer screen.

Download Free Game Trial
<a href="http://rustyaxe.com/ree2/buy.php?AID=1647223"onClick="javascript: pageTracker._trackPageview('/realestateempire2buy2'); ">Buy The Game Now $19.95

Sound

This game surprisingly doesn’t include any audio sounds. Instructions are in word format and results are shown with visual cues such as a sad face when the tenant is unhappy. Having no sound does spoil the enjoyment of the game. In fact it makes it easier to concentrate on each goal.

Creativity and Innovation

This game is a continuation from Real Estate Empire 2. It is a creative game that involves multi-tasking. The reader has to not only think about buying and selling but renting and keeping the tenants happy. Whilst the graphics may have been simplistic it is very addictive. The concept behind the game, buying and selling properties is what makes it work. This is a game I would consider buying because it is interesting.

Download Free Game Trial
<a href="http://rustyaxe.com/ree2/buy.php?AID=1647223"onClick="javascript: pageTracker._trackPageview('/realestateempire2buy3'); ">Buy The Game Now $19.95

You should buy Real Estate Empire 2 if:

*You thrive on the challenge of buying and selling property.
*You like games with precise tasks for each level.
*You enjoy the pressure of completing each task within a short period of time.

You should not buy Real Estate Empire 2 if:

*You like open ended challenges.
*You want games with a wide range of audio sounds in them.
* You prefer target shooting games.
