Denmark based Happy Camper released Pearls, an action puzzle game for the IPad, IPhone, IPod Touch for $0.99. You take control of the Sam the happy pearl and must to draw a line through the other pearls floating down to the ground. I agree consumers will easily understand the objective of the Pearls. Since the pearls are moving or floating you must draw the line through the anticipated path of the pearl as opposed to drawing the line through the pearl’s exact location. (more…)
Sarasota, Florida based Mob Rules decided to use an interesting approach to their fundraising efforts on Kickstarter for their game development. Most game companies on Kickstarter allow backers to donate money for a specific game. Slovak based Indie game development studio Games Distillery have released their PC Steampunk Shooter “Naval Warfare” free testing at www.awomo.com. Be aware the site Awomo presents information in German without an option for English. The first 60 minutes of the game will be made available to everyone free of charge. If gamers buy the game, they can resume the game exactly where they left off when the test period came to an end. They are offering the game with a 75% discount to consumers. Normally Naval Warfare costs 9.99 Euros.

Wolfire Games and Lexaloffle have released the alpha version of Voxatron, Lexaloffle’s latest game. Voxatron is a 3D platform shooter using retro looking cubes available on the Mac, PC and Linux platforms. Copenhagen based Indie game developer House on Fire released their first mobile game download called Neon Zone for the iOS and Android Markets priced at $0.99.
Described as a gravity based minimalist puzzle game, Neon Zone leverages both phone platforms “twisting” capabilities. Each level is a maze where you have to guide a cube by simply rotating the phone. Each puzzle has multiple solutions.
