CBE Software released the downloadable playable demo for their narrative Sci Fi PC game called J.U.L.I.A which takes place in 2430 AD stars Rachel Manners, an astrobiologist who awakens from a cryogenic sleep after a long journey to find herself alone orbiting an unknown planet, with J.U.L.I.A, the ships artificial intelligence and her only companion. Partnered with J.U.L.I.A they must solve all the mysteries and puzzles. I would describe J.U.L.I.A as a giant point and click puzzle adventure game. The graphics and concept look really sharp so far.
IPad owners should rejoice. Colibri Games released the HD IPad version of their fantastic family friendly puzzle game called Tiny Bang Story. The Tiny Bang Story tells the story of a world called The Tiny Planet, hit by an asteroid and players must point and click their way through the game to recover and assemble the puzzle pieces of Tiny Planet. Puzzle loving adults and children will enjoy playing The Tiny Bang Story on their IPads. Tiny Bang Story costs $2.99.
TellTale Games, creators of point and click episodic adventure video games, have released Tales of Monkey Island Episode 2: The Siege of Spinner Island on the iOS platform: IPhone, IPad and IPod Touch. Originally released in 2009 on the PC and Wii, Tales of Monkey Island tells the story of a pirate named Guybrush Threepwood who battles the arch rival the pirate LeChuck. During their tussles, Threepwood accidently releases a voodoo pox with the potential to turn pirates into less than friendly monsters. You will have to buy Tales of Monkey Island to find out more..

We came across this game trailer on Kickstarter for Crowman & Wolfboy, iOS Adventure game from Pittsburgh Wither Studios. Wither Studios describes Crowman & Wolfboy as “an Epic Platformer with more than 30 levels, 15 environments and 3 play modes. Jara Plachy and Amantia Design released this game trailer for Botanicula, a point’n’click exploration game about a bunch of five tree creature friends who must journey to save the last seed from their home tree which is infested by evil parasites. The original soundtrack and sound effects are created by Czech alternative band DVA created the original soundtrack and sound effects. Release of Botanicula for PC, Mac and probably also for iOS and Android is planned for early 2012.

WRF Studios released a downloadable point and click adventure game called Last Half of Darkness: Society of the Serpent Moon for $19.99 plus $4 for shipping. You play the game as Mr. Black, who received a note from someone who claims to have captured his fiance who was working on investigating a story involving vampire like murders in a small European town.
