Reflexive, creators of classic games like Ricochet Lost Worlds released a new time management game called GabCab, where the game player must pick up and deliver passengers to their destinations while catching tips in the air. The game retails for a whopping $6.99.
Actionsoft released the sequel to their classic downloadable platformer, Midnight Mansion, aptly called Midnight Mansion 2. Actionsoft has revived their version of Indiana Jones, Jack Malone who pursues a quest for treasure as he explores underground caverns, mad scientist laboratories, spooky graveyards, old abandoned castles, and outwits enemies. Feel free to try it out. It retails for $25.00. We will publish a complete review of this downloadable platformer in the next two weeks.
Positech, publishers of Democracy and Kudos, released a new expansion pack called Swarm for their downloadable game Gratuitous Space Battles. According to Positech, the Swarm are Space-dwelling nomads who destroy all they encounter, using cunning new gratuitous weapons such as disruptor beams, fusion guns, and deadly smart-bombs. BalckFire Games released Alien Dominion: The Acronian Encounter. It looks like it may pack a punch or two. We will publish a full review in a few weeks.
Paprikari released the third game in the Mortimer Beckett series. This time the game player finds Mortimer searching for the Lost king by executing a series of tasks and solving puzzles which leads to clues uncovering the location of the Lost King. So far the game has challenged us but then again we get lost in the shower so take that for what its worth. We will publish a full review in a few weeks.
Remode and Blitz 1UP released Mole Control, a logic based Minesweeper like puzzle game. You are the driver of a buggy tasked to find and dig up moles in the lawns of a town called Molar Creek. So far Mole Control looks interesting enough but we will post a full review in a week or so.
Alawar Entertainment released Farm Frenzy 3, the third part of the Farm Frenzy Simulation Game Trilogy. Here’s Alawar’s description of the game:
