Independent game developer 2×2 Games released their downloadable World War II PC strategy game called Unity of Command for $29.99 directly from their web site – unityofcommand.net.

Apparently the Gorg, from the upcoming game Unstoppable Gorg by Future Mark Games, don’t plan to join 99% occupiers in Oakland California or New York City anytime soon as you can see from this picture.
In the downloadable tower defense style game Unstoppable Gorg you defend our solar system from an alien race by sending satellites into orbit around planets, moons and space stations. However unlike all the other tower defense style games, in Unstoppable Gorg you can move your satellites even after you have placed them. When the Gorg armada attacks you can move your satellites around their orbits to best defend against each wave. (more…)

Joost van Dongen will release Proun aptly described as a downloadable tube racing game later this spring for the PC. You are racing against time on the outside of a tube while avoiding modern art like obstacles by rotating your position using the control buttons or arrows. Proun looks very interesting, unique, addicting and fun. Proun belongs in any city’s museum of modern art. Dongen, Proun’s game developer combines beautiful art with challenging eye hand coordination with speed. You can still download Proun’s beta here.

Warlock Studios (no relation to Charlie Sheen) has released Flight for Fight, a downloadable game which features World War II aerial battles between the Allies and the German Luftwaffe for $19.95 for the PC. The player has the option to fly P51 Mustang and Messerschmitt Bf109 as well as other classic military planes.
