Misfits Attic announced plans to port their funny indie action puzzle pc game called A Virus Named Tom to the Mac and Linus platforms presumably after today but before December 2013. A Virus Named Tom tells the story of….three guesses… a virus named Tom created by an angry eccentric recently relieved of his employment scientist to destroy the city of tomorrow today. You must infect objects like Robot dogs and teleporters as you wreak as much electronic havoc as possible.
You can buy the PC version for $9.99 here. iOS and Android versions may come sometime in 2014.

California based My Game Company released Dirk Dashing 2: E.V.I.L Eye, a fun family friendly platform game consumers. Dirk Dashing 2 costs $19.99. Consumers can play the Dirk Dashing 2 on their PC, Mac and or Linux computers.
In Dirk Dashing 2, you play Dirk Dashing, a James Bond type of Super Spy who must track down the source of a virus that destroys a computer network of his employer G.O.O.D. Turns out the a Dr No like character named Dr. EGO concocted the virus. The creators of Dirk Dashing injected an element similar to one aspect of the Splinter Cell series starring Sam Fisher from Ubisoft. When Dirk Dashing wonders into a shaded area he becomes difficult to see.

Canadian based Green Pixel Games would appreciate your financial support of their upcoming game called The Pocalypse Defense. Wolfire Games and Lexaloffle have released the alpha version of Voxatron, Lexaloffle’s latest game. Voxatron is a 3D platform shooter using retro looking cubes available on the Mac, PC and Linux platforms. Lexaloffle will ultimately charge $15.00 for Voxatron but consumers can now pay whatever price they want to get their hands on the Alpha version which offers 20 levels. (more…)

Graduate Games release the free alpha of their canine themed downloadable version of solitaire called Best in Show minus Eugene Levy. Graduate Games requires users to double opt-in to their email list to get the Best in Show Solitaire download link. It took about ten minutes to receive the confirmation email and then two minutes to get the email containing the link to the Best In Show Solitaire download which arrives in a .zip folder containing an .exe file. Graduate Games Best In Show Solitaire will support Windows, Mac and Linux in the final version and they may began taking pre-orders in thirty to sixty days. Graduate Games will charge $19.95 for Best In Show Solitaire when the final version hits the online shelves for sale.

Puppy Games released a revamped demo version of their single player downloadable Tower Defense style game called Revenge of the Titans. Consumers can pre-order this downloadable real time strategy game for $13.37, a nice round number. Puppy Games will charge $27.72 when the game launches.
The titans are, wait get ready for this, an extraterrestrial group of beings pissed off at the earth people, not specifically the Americans but who doesn’t America piss off. The earth forces successfully defended earth and defeated the titans a few years earlier. The titans are persistent little buggers so they decided to give the invasion of earth another go.
Your task, should you decide to download and install this real time strategy game, is to defend the earth at all costs by making strategic decisions about weapon defense placements, and defense related R&D. As you progress through the game levels, you gain access to more weapons and technologies which will help you beat back the mangy titan hoards.
Winter Wolves released Love and Order, a mystery dating simulation game just in time for Valentine’s Day. The game opens you are Dana Larose, a new secretary at the Crowne Attorney’s office. On her first day on the job Dana finds an envelope containing a cryptic message about Case Number ML-265. As Dana quietly investigates Case ML-265 she meets her co-workers and the various bosses deciding whom to date and when (even though workers shouldn’t dip their pens in the company ink.) The game offers four datable characters each with a different ending. We will publish a complete review in the coming weeks.
