Positech Games plans to introduce a new alien race called the outcasts to their space strategy game Gratuitous Space Battles. The Outcasts employ some pretty interesting technology on their space vessels. For example the Outcast ship can project a holographic decoy image of a ship to draw incoming fire from their enemy. The images above and below showcase the new game play. Positech Games hasn’t determined the price nor the release date for the Outcasts DLC pack.
Consumers can play Gratuitous Space Battles on the PC for $16.95 and the IPad for $9.95. You can also buy Gratuitous Space Battles on Steam.

Positech released an expansion pack for their latest downloadable strategy game called Gratuitous Space battles. As well as new ship hulls, the game adds two new missions and a scattering of new tribe-specific modules to reflect their emphasis on ‘strong hulls and weak shields’. It also introduces
the first use of kinetic weapons.
