Czech based CBE Software released this trailer for a video game called Vampire! coming to consumers PC, iOS and the Android platforms sometime in the 4th Quarter. The trailer showcases a new character, the Vampire Queen. The trailer looks like the game might offer reverse tower defense but they describe Vampires! as a fast paced puzzle game. Does the Vampires! game trailer look like a puzzle game to you?
Unmechanical? That’s the nice way to describe our father. It’s also the name of a puzzle adventure PC and iOS video game coming from Indie developers Talawa Games and Teotl Studios. PC Games will be able to play Unmechanical on August 8th. iOS gamers will be able to play the game a few weeks later. Moon Active Games released Bitter Sam, a clever iOS Physics game priced at $0.99.
Bitter Sam features Sam, a little creature kidnapped by a scientist who forces Sam to search a bottomless pit for special crystals. The scientist lowers Sam on a rope into the pit and you must tilt your device to swing Sam away from danger like stones and cutting devices and towards the crystals to acquire them. We breezed through the first four levels which act as the tutorial but were stopped cold on the five level. The obstacles get trickier and the power-ups get harder to acquire without cutting the rope and dropping Sam to his death. (more…)
Oklahoma based Tagger Games released Carl The Spider, a platform game available for download on the iOS platform for $0.99. In Carl the Spider you help guide the spider through the level by touching and holding the spot the spider should aim his web. You must hold the touch on the spot until the Spider is over his target area. Once you release Carl drops hopefully onto the right landing zone. You have to be fairly precise when touching the screen because Tagger Game hasn’t left much room for error when moving the spider along his path. If you miss then spot the spider dies. You will understand how to play Carl the Spider but it will be tough to master. (more…)
Mind Splat Design released their first game called Avoid-A-Ball for the iOS and Android platforms for $0.99. Spoonbill provided the sound effects.
As the name states you must avoid the tadpole like ball by shooting your ball around from tooth to tooth. You can earn power ups by directing the ball into the stars and also by colliding your ball when its enlarged into the ball you normally avoid. Everyone will enjoy Avoid A Ball. (more…)
