Watch how Darby interacts with his newly discovered sister, The Princess in episode 6 of Space Janitors Season 3. One of the stars of AMC TV’s “Hell On Wheels” makes an appearance in this episode. Space Janitors parodies Star Wars telling the story of two janitors who worked on a Death Star like vehicle but now fight with the rebel alliance.
Davin Lengyel, Geoff Lapaire, Andy Hull, the writers of Space Janitors, a funny sci-fi comedy homage to Star Wars announced definitive plans to produce a third season. Space Janitors centers in the lives of two twenty something janitors, Mike and Darby and their friends, who work in dead end jobs on a death star like evil space vessel. One of these two characters’ father may be a rebel leader.
They have launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $30,000 to help complete season. Perks include access to their Janitor Locker which contains producer commentaries, outtakes, unreleased shorts and promo videos, audition tapes, soundtracks, 3d models and sound effects used in the show.

Future Mark Studios released a lite version of their 1950’s Sci-Fi themed tower defense game called Unstoppable Gorg for the IPad. The game takes place in earth’s orbit where you must build weapons to defend the satellites and ultimately earth. As the Gorg’s various attacking space ships approach you can change the orbital positions of the defensive weapons during the battle to maximize the damage inflicted in the Gorg crafts. (more…)
Neil Baller, co-founder of Owzom introduced us to their free to play action alien shooter game called Blast Aliens. When we first opened the game we saw the reticle on our IPhone screen we thought ahh a boring first person shooter. However our initial impression was very wrong. Owzom combined a western and sci fi themed game which takes place in the Outworld colonies In Blast Aliens you have to duel with alien species. You aim the reticle by tilting your device until its on the target. Its not easy although we get lost in the shower. It’s an interesting approach to a shooter game. (more…)
FutureMark Studios released their “revolutionary” tower defense game called Unstoppable Gorg, which pays homage to the classic sci fi alien invasion movies from the 1950s. Consumers can buy and download Unstoppable Gorg from Steam on sale for the PC and Mac computers for $8.99 (10% off the normal $9.99 price) and thru the Apple App store for the IPad for $4.99. FutureMark Studios released this trailer showcasing game play for their upcoming tower defense game for the PC, IPad and XBLA, Unstoppable Gorg, a homage to the early Sci-Fi films of the 40s and 50s. The Gorg, lead by the Lizard King, attack earth in the classic flying saucers. The tower defense battles take place in orbit around earth as opposed to land based battles. The Unstoppable Gorg game play looks unique. FutureMark Studios plans to release Unstoppable Gorg in early 2012. Price is TBD. (more…)
